Mokane man dies after front

CALLAWAY COUNTY − One person died after a crash around 8 p.m. Monday on 6941 County Road in Callaway County.

The crash occurred as Joseph Richner's front-end loader was headed westbound and got too close to the edge of a lake and overturned, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

Richner, 77, of Mokane, was pronounced dead at the scene by the South Callaway Fire District.

This is MSHP Troop F's first fatality for October and the 38th fatality for 2023.
